have decided to splash out on longies for Boo!!!!
and Naughty Ali thought that sending me wool choices may help me decide that wool was certainly the way to go!!!

so, nature would match his carpet, grobag and pj's best, but may be a little boring / boyish

verve i like tho it is a little bright, and the green doesnt really match our current greens

and zest...well i love it, it matches and is unisex...but am worried about the cream starting to look dirty or staining

any opinions or help welcome!!!!

Hmm tricky decision that one - I would say no to the nature as its almost the same colour as the longies I am knitting now, so I need to buy a different colour preloved when Boo grows out of them

Could you not go and choose something like engergy, air, force or essence which are my shortlist

Perhaps we should all choose in bluewater    Or are you having them knitted before then?

Don't go for the zest  coz it is unisex and you would keep them forever       I don't think cream would be a problem though in that colourway as it would all be muddled so wouldn't look dirty.

Did you see the colour of wool I got in cream, green and brown - that might be perfect and Ali should be able to get some if its perfect! - its in photos under "longies knitting so far"

There are so many beautiful wools there, and such a good price too. I wish I could knit. Could you get a mixture so they would be striped nature/with another color?

Sorry I'm so naughty

The zest has quite a bright purple in it, which you can't really see on the screen. I'm not sure I'd call it unisex.

You can see them better here actually

I like verve :D You could go for a pair of each  so you have spares when they need washing / lanolising

Hard choice

I think I like the essence best of all, but somehow it almost looks nicer as a ball than the knitted sample :?

I voted zest from your choices but there are so many yummy ones. I also think purple is not a girly color but then I have been eyeing up some pink hello kitty baby tights and thinking I would have to get them irrespective of gender...

You've got to feel sorry for them if we have boys! They will be dressed in anything that takes my fancy   I suspect you might be kinder!
