Fleece soakers - thick question

Postby rachymoo » Tue Apr 20, 2010 10:15 pm

Hiya,

I feel a bit thick for asking this  but hey I'm still learning lol! Just wondering is a fleece soaker a wrap? i.e. it does the same thing, so I can use it over any of my fitted nappies? If so then how do they work? I dont get how they don't leak... told you it was a thick question lol.

Rach xx

soaker is like giant fleece knickers that go over a fitted :hohoho:
You can get compression wicking, but if your nappy is boosted enough you'll be fine. We use fleece durring the day sometimes, but we always use it at night.
I think of it as the "Poor Man's Wool" :hohoho: :hohoho:

big knickers :hohoho:
Fleece is water replant I believe, it works great though, we use fleece soakers at night and fleece skirties during the day oh and then there are flongies which are fleece trousers.

If you are on a tight budget fleece make a great alternative to wool

Yes, me too! :hohoho: I am very poor though!

I have just got into fleece and I love it - if the nappy underneath is absorbant enough then fleece works very well. I did keep checking her bum every so often to make sure it wasn't wet the first time I used it though - couldn't believe she wasn't going to leak!

Fleece is better than PUL wraps overnight in my experience.

*nods* I have only once put Dawn to bed in PUL and she leaked worse than a disp  We always use Fleece or Wool now. Even if she has to be in a disp, I put a fleece wrap over the top with a couple MF boosters in to minimise leakage!
