Which wraps for Heavy wetters & newborns?

Postby charlibunny » Tue Oct 05, 2010 11:12 am

I am going to start trying wraps again on Soph so her fitteds get used more. Blueberries wick and the cotton bottoms one i tried yesterday wicked too
the ONE i have that works amazingly its a bubble tots?? Its a very basic pul sewn on to fleece applix thing but it's bombproof, i can't find any more.
Whats good for heavy wetters??

Also it's struck me we have NO wraps for bump, what can i look out for???

Well its pretty simple answer from me really...thirsties duo's! They are my fav wraps!

I love weehuggers too but we were getting red marks on K's thighs with those and the prints that i had (and loved very much) wicked...apparently the sold colours are more reliable...So i have parted with them for now :( i think i might try solids again though when i have some pp.

For bump i have 6 size 1 thirsties duo's and 3 weehuggers (2 prints and 1 solid).

The thirsties duos are a bit tricky to get ahold of atm so your limited on those, i beieve peachy tots have some in stock, i would go with size 2 for soph  There are three rise settings on them so you can adjust them...they come in poppers and aplix but i would imagine the aplix is more adjustable (just thinking of how wee soph is) so you might get a better fit with that rather than poppers?

Weehuggers again, i would go with size 2...its the same as the thirsties with three rise settings. You can get those at babipur, babykind...They are a bit more expensive though...around £13 per wrap. Where as the thirsties duos are £8.75 ish.
