Pilchers?

Just curious really, I know this forum is called "Wraps (pilchers)" but I've never heard anyone call a wrap a pilcher, is it an old fashioned term or something? A North/South thing?

Just wondered (bored, friday night, ill child, pregnant so no drinking....)

I've never heard of it either ... My Mum did to begin with refer to Rufus' wrap as a 'Rubber' but I soon told her that I thought that meant something else now & suggested she just call it a wrap.

The "rubber" has obviously changed meaning over time! I have to say I've never heard of it either, my mum calls them plastic pants

I don't know the only aussie term I know is chuddy and thats from too many soaps at school

My Nana calls them Rubber Pants

i'm aussie and have never heard the term (but never had kids in Aus)... i thought it was american maybe

I'm pretty sure its an Australian term for nappy wrap.
