One Life/ Tots Bots Wraps - leaking advice please!

Postby elliebelly » Sun Feb 19, 2012 1:58 pm

Help!!!

I have been using these wraps for 18 months now and of late I'm using more and more disposables which kills me!

We have a problem with the wraps. I am using tots bots bamboozles with thick bamboo boosters and after about two hours she has soaked through the wrap and her trousers, so we are having to change her outfits several times a day.

Now I have looked to see if it is wicking from around the leg cuffs, but more often than not its through the wrap itself.

We wash them but dont tumble dry them just natural air dry over a chair, do you think they may just not be waterproof any more? if so can I make them waterproof again or do i need to buy new ones?

We are resorting to disposables more and more and I hate it!

Try a 10 min tumble dry on hot to re-seal and holes that may be in the pul xx

Are the bamboozles soaked as well? Wraps can leak if the nappy is totally saturated too. It's worth trying a tumble like pp suggested.
Ds certainly would have outweed a boosted bamboozle at 18 months in less than 2 hours as he was a pretty heavy wetter.

Sometimes they are saturated, but a lot of the time, they aren't! thats what is so frustrating!!!

Any ideas on boosting them even more? I cant afford to buy more nappies!!
