Garlic!

Ages ago I had a whole clove of garlic that sprouted in the fridge, I know that they say it doesn't work but we broke them up and popped them in the ground. They mostly grew but then we have had a long period of no rain and they started drying out, then it rained solidly just now for about a week and the whole lot kind of disappeared so J dug up the garden this morning and this is what we got out:

Not sure what they will be like and some are clearly too small but excited to have our own garlic :yahoo:

Looks good :)

We had a very small yield of potatoes this year too. But some are better than anything!

You should be pleased

Considering the original bulbs will have gone in the bin if we hadn't planted them I'm well pleased!!!

I did potatos, onions, bacon and garlic in a pan for dinner last night (served with a poached egg and tabasco sauce on top - a Danish recipe can't remember what it is called!). The garlic was divine, quite strong and really fresh tasting
