This weeks egg haul

@clothmama thought you might like to see a pic of our lovely fresh eggs. The white ones are from Kevin, the brown ones are from Karen. Princess Korma is currently on strike

Love them! You are making me jealous It is amazing how different the colours are! Is that pretty average per week?

We usually get more than that when all 3 are laying but at the moment this is pretty average. There should be 2 more but we had those for breakfast .

We love our fresh eggs too!
They only thing, we now have 10 chickens and about 9 eggs a day . I think 5 chickens would have been enough for a family of 5.
We give the extra eggs to Family and friends

Not really, we usually give half a dozen away to family or friends, sometimes I sell them to people at work.

The large dark brown eggs are from Karen, who is a cuckoo maran. The small white ones are from Kevin who is a polish bantam and the large creamy white eggs are from Korma who is silver laced Wyandotte.
