So I'm in full planning mode and been doing little else for days!! I have actually subscribed to the Grow Veg Garden planner with some of my birthday money from MIL - I ended up doing 3 different ones with 3 different emails last year and found it so invaluable and so annoying to have to redo every time on the free week trails :giggle: so decided that with so much work and me such a new gardener that the emails reminding me to plant etc will be so valuable to getting myself organised this year!

Anyway still very much a work in progress but this is what I'm up to so far - if you go to the page you can get to a bigger version you can scroll around!

It isnt' very clear and I've moved the roof off this version and forgotten to move it back but the bit to the right is a poly tunnel (all the hoops / doors there but no plastic as of yet) and where it says 'chickens' should have an arrow pointing further to the right as they are on the next section down from the polytunnel (or will be when I finally get them!!). And to give you an idea of scale the veggie beds in the centre are about 10 metres long.

Got quite a bit of weeding / pruning etc done in last few spring like days too :yahoo: No way I'll get everything done that I need to before I go away but I'm trying to be as ahead as I can so at least I know I have some seeds pushing etc!

If you are wondering what the pale brown powder is on the soil, it is cinnamon! Apparently ace for stopping mould growth and is also used as a natural rooting powder so not sure if good that way for seeds to. I bought a 1kg A grade bag of it! I still need to tape up the bottles and I learnt my lesson from last year and didnt' write on the outside of the bottle (which you may remember went badly as it all came off a few weeks later  ).
