Sara's plans

Postby littlesez » Fri Mar 31, 2017 7:25 pm

I've bought this house

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for ... 67821.html

Sooooo planning the garden :giggle:

The back garden will be for the kids and rabbits :hohoho:

The front is mine ! I'm taking my 4 raised bed wooden thingys and 4 tyres from here for veg. Then I'm going to have hanging baskets and sunflowers.

Questions! And yes they are all silly as, it's me :hohoho:

1. On the pics you can see back garden has a bark section which I would like to have grass for rabbits to graze on. Can I just buy turf and throw it down lol

2. Can I plant seeds now in iccle trays and then take stuff with me to plant in pots or beds. I'm thinking baby toys, peas, beans, herbs, sunflowers

3. What should I put in hanging baskets. I've got these so far

Any other ideas and suggestions very welcome tia xx

Oooooooo very nice Sara.
1. It depends what is under the bark Sara. If soil then if raked flat it should be ok for turf
2. Yes you can plant stuff in little trays to take with you or little pots to transfer later.
3. Not as good with flowers, but petunias, pansies, fushias all stuff like that or tomatoes that can hang.

i can't load it but will have a look later on J's computer. So glad you have found somewhere! Is it the same place you linked to a while ago (I did look at that on another computer - just cna't get right move to work on mine!)

Beans and peas don't like to be disturbed so not sure how well they will pot out but most other things OK to start and move with you and plant when you get there.

:yahoo: exciting times @littlesez

I don't think I have linked new house yet. It's fugly outside with its grey pebbledash and Street sign lol

However the inside is immaculate. I can literally move in and unpack plus it's got two gardens

@littlesez I'm just doing more bean research as I need to get mine started and I was wrong you can in fact start them in pots and plant out.
