Which carpet cleaner?

Postby Shaunie » Thu Aug 09, 2012 9:17 am

Have been trying to decide between having the lounge carpet professionally cleaned or buying as domestic carpet cleaner to do it ourselves, baring in mind that it may need doing again in the future!

So ladies, can anyone reccommend a carpet cleaner please?

Once a year we rent a Rug Doctor from Morrisons. It is easy to use and SO effective. Not cheap, but it is more powerful and gets better results than the domestic one I've borrowed from my friend (hers is Vax). Also means we don't need to store it, which is a bonus for something we don't use very often.

I know a professional will always get the best results, then renting a machine would be second & third buying a machine.
