Felt the sane as you and bought a bagless dirt devil. Wish I'd held out for the dyson. The filters get blocked really quickly and are expensive toreplace. Save for a dyson IMO! X

We used to have a dyson until it died last year. We opted for a bissell upright animal - and its the best vac we've ever had. They're really reasonably priced and are fantastic! X

We've got a dyson animal ball- love it! Plus it has a 5 year guarantee. We've had the engineer out x2 fixed both times :) Our hoover gets hammered, I use it at least 4 times a day. Rhibk we paid £300 ish for it?

I have a vax pet vacuum, no experience of dysons but my vax is fab! And was only £50 from argos in the sale :D

Well we have a Hoover something or other and it's fine but it was to replace my Dyson that died after about 10 years and it's just not the same! If you can wait a bit and save for a Dyson then I would!

We have a Henry Hoover. It's brilliant. I've used them in workplaces and homes. I love not having to push the weight of an upright Hoover especially with my SPD.
Parts are easy to get hold of and replace not that we have ever needed to replace anything.

Save for a dyson, I hate using anything else. We even took ours on our holiday as the cottage we stay in has a really rubbish hoover. I wouldn't get anything else now. We are on our 2nd but the 1st was at least 15 yearts old when it died.
