Boosters/Inserts

Postby Woozle35 » Sun Oct 11, 2009 7:42 pm

Evening All

I have been given lots of boosters/inserts all different sizes. materials and shapes, is there a difference between inserts/boosters and if there is, how do I tell the difference?
Also, some of then are a bit of a funny colour so I presume I am ok to dye them?

Thanks Viki :-?

There isn't really a difference between boosters and inserts. As long as if you're using something as a pocket insert it fits the pocket perfectly you'll be fine i.e. it is the exact width and length of the pocket - no gaps and it lays nice and flat inside the pocket without bunching up. The same goes for boosters - as long as the nappy still fits well with the booster inside - no leg gape etc then it will be fine. As for dyeing them, as long as they're made from natural materials you should be able to dye them.

Thank you I did not realise the boosters/inserts had to be a exact fit, that must be why we had a few leaks yesterday

I am goig to have a go at dying the grotty looking ones next week.

Thanks :wine:
