want to make my own hemp boosters. what hemp fabric?

hi all. i want to make my own hemp boosters. whats the ideal hemp fabric to look for ie hemp jersy or something else? also does anyone know where i can buy it from pretty cheaply?

When I did mine I used hemp jersey and got it from babeco...

I've used hemp jersey but I prefer hemp terry.
The great thing about making your own is that you can decide on the shape that suits your nappies best, or you can make some that fold differently and then can adapt themselves better when you change nappy size.

I agree with this - what I didn't say was that I made mine longer and thinner which suited us better...

I have some bamboo jersey waiting to be used which I should get out

thats kind of why i wanted to make my own as i do like the ep ones but am finding them a little bit too thick to lie flat in the pocket nappies and i find them a little too short too. its having the time to do it though. i hand sewed a bamboo terry sqaure into a four layer booster the other night and its great but it took one sqaure to make one booster so deffo not much cheaper because of the amount of fabric you need. plus i am crap at sewing but i kinda thought as long as its sewn together it doesnt matter what it looks like as long as it lays flat. how many layers of hemp would make it very absorbant. the ep ones are meant to be 6 layers i think!

I just fold a bamboo terry square in 4 and lay in in either a fitted for night or in a pocket, works fine and no sewing involved.
