Wool doublers

Any help would be appreciated please - I am having a dim moment!
What is the purpose of these if they are 100% wool. Is it absorbant if not lanolised?

Wool absorbs around 30% of it's own weight in liquid so there is that, but as it is very breathable it also means it evaporates the liquid too. It works well as a doubler, we have a couple of wool backed boosters. I've never lanolised a doubler as mine are all bv topped, but I guess if it was just wool you could do, the lanolin wouldn't hurt. I just place them in between the nappy layers.

I have bought some from bibsnbots for in night nappies.

Would they work between other boosters/inserts? I am going to out them in the pocket style night nappies so would be between a bamboo and zorb layer.

Ooops yes, sorry, I edited as you were posting I think.
I place them in between layers, you can put them wherever really, just use as you would any other booster, maybe try in different places to see what works best. I've never used them in a pocket, since finding wool we haven't touched PUL.

They are pocket style fitteds we use at night so they should hopefully work well.
