Confused - Liner help needed please

Hiya all, could someone please help me with some info with liners please?

I've been using fleece liners, but have recently got a couple of pocket nappies and the inside lining that goes against the skin is fleece. I read somewhere that if I put a fleece liner on top of fleece lining that it can cause the nappy to leak as the liner waterproofs the lining and stops the nappy absorbing.

I'm a bit confused as you can probably guess, does anyone know if this is true, and if it is, what liners would be suitable to protect the nappy. I know that I probably wouldn't need a liner to help keep DS dry, but I'd like to protect against staining if he poos and I'm not keen on the flushable paper liners as they do irritate my sons bottom!

WSS but TBH fleece doesn't usually stain anyway.

As above really, I use fleece liners in all our nappies and have never noticed leaks due to it, HTH xx
