Affordable XL wet bag recommendation?

Postby Juli » Mon Dec 12, 2011 4:48 pm

Hi everyone,

I know everyone recommends the monkeyfoot wet bags, but they are so expensive. Is there anything out there that works as well without costing a small fortune? I'm looking to use it as a nappy bucket alternative, so it does need to be quite sturdy and hold up well even if used every day.

Also, can you open a wetbag and stuff a nappy in and close it again with one hand, the way you can with a nappy bucket? How practical is it if you have a very wriggly baby who you shouldn't take your eyes off of, or they'll roll off the change mat? :giggle:

Or maybe I should just use a bucket with a mesh bag inside. I haven't tried that. Oh, I can't decided, and I keep changing my mind!

I have 2 Tots Bots bags and usethem instead of a bucket - 8 months of being washed every other day and they are immaculate, and each one holds a good days worth of nappies :) Takes 2 hands to open though, maybe not what you are after?
