Squares Blanket CAL - Info - read first and ongoing info

Welcome to our afgan square blanket CAL. ** Edited to reflect it as an ongoing CAL as we are all at different spots 18 months after starting We are doing 2 squares a month to end up with a 24 square afgan throw. Most of the patterns are based on a 5mm hook using aran weight yarn for approximately a 30 cm (12 inch) square although you can use DK which will give you a smaller square (8.5 inches). No problems Jess, I'll keep it updated as we add squares and it is a sticky so easy to find at the top of the 'Crochet' board

been looking for this thread for days, I'd accidentally posted it in general chat! Moved now

I cannot wait to move so I can catch up. I've only done t first 2 so far.

@Bugglyboo same here, did the first 2...waiting for time to catch up

Not sure I'll get the 2nd March one done before I go away so I'll be playing catch up in April! I still haven't finished the 2nd January one as I think I don't love it as part of the blanket BUT I have a cunning plan as I do like it in itself, I'm thinking I could make a cushion cover to go with the blanket and have that as the cover (obviously same colours) and just backed with a nice cotton material!
