I just don't like being called a troll when I was making a valid point. Someone said it was disappointing about the number who signed up, I was just stating the rules are too strict to expect more people to sign up.

Well I for one would much rather sign up to a swap with a few people I actually knew, than a swap with 100 people I didn't know from Adam.

There has to be rules to protect the members of the forum, as already stated £25 is alot of money and there needs to be some security. My opinion people aren't joining is because they simply can't afford it or just don't want to

I'm very sorry that you feel that we are being unfriendly but to be fair to us you haven't even got to know us before deciding that you want to leave. The only posts excluding your classifieds ones have been criticising our rules, and it's only natural that our members want to defend the forum that they care about.

Our forum is large but has a very friendly community who help, advise and support each other which if you stayed you would soon find out. As has previously been said, the rules for our santa swaps etc are there to protect everyone.

I'm sorry that you have had a hard time in your relationship but I hope that you and your dc can now enjoy your cloth journey however you decide to make it.

It's a forum do you actually know them? It is not real life, or have you met everyone who on the swapping list then?

You tell me how as a single Mum who just got out of a violent and controlling relationship can find the time to post 250 messages. I am just properly new to cloth nappies (ex dictated which ones to use which leaked all the time) and thought that a start of trying something new then what I have already tried would be a good way.

I am going to close my cloth nappy tree account, sold some nappies recently bought a load but there are more friendly nappy sites to go on.

I wasn't trying to make you feel unwelcome, but you haven't once posted on the forum other than to criticise the way this is being run. you have to expect that people won't take too kindly to that. If you had joined the forum, introduced yourself and asked for help and advice you would have received it by the bucketload, but if you don't want to give it a chance and want to flounce off to other forums that is your choice. I personally doubt there are any nappy forums that have a closer community than this one, but if you don't have time to become part of it you won't ever know.

I've met a good few people from this forum in real life. I'm not taking part in this particular swap, but I have taken part in lots in the past.

Well I've been posting since 2008 (under 2 usernames), I may never have met members on this forum but I have spent a long time and put in the effort getting to know people.... Besides I could not register with a forum and immediately take part in a swap, it would be almost 'cheeky' I'd be too embarrassed!
