Colours !

Am on a budget but my house needs a transformation

At the moment it's all magnolia, tired and grubby ha ha. I just painted the wc snd hall white and its really brightened it up. Gonna do the same for bathrooms, landing, stairs.

Is it daft to do the gloss in nice colours ?? Instead of usual white

Also looking for inspiration for colours for lounge, bedrooms and kitchen

I am all for the nordic look with some small colour details
White is good for all the basics and then maybe a colour or more in the same tones - what do you like? light or bright?
Maybe some before pics so we can see what you are redecorating

I agree with Marie @littlesez we need some pics! I'm also a huge fan of white. When you say gloss do you mean for the skirting boards etc?

I'm sure I've seen a house with white walls and then a stunning vintage green gloss on the wood work. It was beautiful. I'll have to see if I can find pictures.

I'm not sure I'd go for bright colours as it's not my taste but I'd also be worried it may look like a nursery/preschool.
