Martha has just had an odd rash which the doctor diagnosed as thrush or at least she said fungal........she gave me some canesten cream. Might be worth a try if you think it looks at all likely - martha has a couple of "satellite" spots which are big indicators apparently. Big possibility if she has been pooing like a trouper.
I was wondering about that Ruth - and it's the one thing that's stopped me putting manuka honey on it really as if it is thrush putting honey on it would be a BAD move! I've got some Daktarin around somewhere... Not sure if I've got any Canasten though... But we'll be off to the doc on Monday if I can't shift it by then...
You can buy canesten OTC at the chemist if you fancy giving it a try (just in case you didn't know that. me and thrush have a longstanding relationship lol )
I agree with sadie, I have been using the clear hills bee balm on Kierens bum too...much better than any of the rash creams that I have...seems to really suit his skin Hope it helps!!
bless her! we have had all kinds of bleeding rashes here of late with taliesin, hence why we're about to do another nappy overhaul. trying earth friendly baby diaper care cream atm, quite cheap at 5.65 a tube
