Organic nappy rash cream without lavender

Postby ImisMummy » Wed Jun 22, 2011 5:09 pm

I think Imogen needs some sort of cream to help shift this rash a bit quicker. Its really dry and itchy.

I would like to use an organic cream as she is sensitive to lots of chemicals, however, they all seem to have lavender oil in them , and im alergic to lavender.

Does anyone know of any without lavender/ unscented ones?

I've heard good reviews on this one, but I don't think it is organic

Or possibly something from the Babykind website http://www.babykind.co.uk/gtnappychanging.htm?gclid=CMSMlfymyqkCFUEa4Qodw2LfFQ

Just the normal nipple cream? Was wondering about coconut butter as well? We still have loads of both left from bounty packs!

Do you mean cocoa butter? ;)
I wouldn't use anything I found in a bounty pack on my babe's bum but that's because it's usually johnsons

Yes lansinoh the nipple stuff can be very good, I wouldn't use the cocoa butter as unless it's pure stuff it'll have loads of additives in it which won't be great for her skin...

Kamilosan is easy to buy in the supermarkets but it's not organic...

Northern Essences Sensitive nappy rash balm is the best one I've found without lavender in but you might have a hard time finding it in the UK as I buy it from the US...

Obviously i did mean cocoa butter :giggle:

We use kamilosan atm, but it works for a bit then she starts to get sensitive to it.
