Cheeky wipes?

Postby Kim » Fri Jan 09, 2015 1:57 pm

Are they worth buying?
They have £10 off at the moment and I am wondering if they are worth the money.
Does anyone have them or is just as easy to do it yourself?

I bought some from the seconds section a few months ago, only one of them has frayed. I do like them however they are no better or worse than the onces I made myself. I'm just slowly making more (handsewn) as at full price I think they are expensive but if it's £10 for 40 then that's not too bad.

I was going to get cheeky wipes when i cloth nappied DD but the wipe size was too small for me so i ended up getting 2 packs of grovia wipes.

I already had a plastic tub (just normal lock n store one) and i didnt bother with any solution...just wet them with plain water and stored in tub :)

We loved ours.... Lasted 2 children, 5 years of full time cloth nappy-ing!

They were literally falling apart at the end - but we did put them through their paces! ;)

I think they are not big enough for my liking. But the price is good :)

I haven't tried the Cheeky wipes, I have done the same as LynniferT and bought 2 packs of GroVia wipes. They are a really good size and although I have only had them 8 months they certainly seem like they will stand the test of time.
I use a normal snap shut type Tupperware box and water with a few drops of lavender oil (although sometimes I just use plain water).
My friend has the cheeky wipes tub and said it's not water tight, if it's tipped upside down some water does leak out whereas that doesn't happen with the normal shop bought tubs.

Thanks all, I still haven't decided though. Which material did you all go for?
