Hello!
It's lovely to chat with you all. Nice to see poeple from the same area too! I haven't actually been to the farm at Desborough yet but have meant to for ages! The chef there is a friend of mine I used to bowl with!

My daughter also rides just outside of Earls Barton!

Ladybird? Do you put the wool under clothes too and if so do they not make the clothes over the top of them damp/wet?

Hahaa! I went into Dunelm Mill and asked about Hemp and bamboo material and they did not have a clue what I was on about!
Tutness indeed!

You can put wool under clothes (soakers generally, like pants shaped knitted wool, or you can get wool wraps) and no, if it's been lanolised and the nappy is absorbent enough and changed often enough then the clothes won't get wet, same as with a PUL cover really!

Aww thanks for the replies everyone!

And also to you Ladybird! It's so great to have the advice to hand!

Any recommendations where to buy my first wool wrap or some longies?

Hello Kerry and Welcome! I'm new here too and also not a million miles away in Leighton Buzzard. Think Northampton/Milton Keynes are fairly central for you, Ladybird and me... we could do coffee maybe :D

That'd be fun! Autumnal girl is about too. I don't get about too easily though, no car.

I drive, but don't know Kettering at all... I got lost there once on the way from Cambridge to Derby!! Long story, road closed, bad diversion signs that put me back on the closed road, forgot my phone, wasn't impressed ha ha! However that was a few years ago :) Think I should overcome my fear now :hohoho: !

Well ladies I drive so not a problem for me!

Maybe we could meet somewhere. I could certainly pick up one plus a child Ladybird if that's any good to you?
I think I may have sourced some bamboo fabric too, lol.

Also going to treat Jovi to a pair of longies!
