Cloth Nappy Tree Forum

Hello all, Have only just discovered this board - not sure how in my nappy related travels i could have missed it lol!
I'm Emily I'm 31, live in Shetland (sometimes feel like I'm the only cloth user on the island!!) and have 2 children - Eva 3 1/2 and sadly not been in nappies for over a yr and Douglas whos 16 wks and cloth bummed since birth. Eva was in cloth until about 20 months when we moved to a really damp house for a while and in winter couldn't get anything dry unles it sat in front of the dehumidifier. We've moved since to our proper house and Dougie is duly cloth bummed. I loved my nappies last time (tots bots and motherease) but didn't discover the delights of the nappy world until preg with ds. he now has a massive collection and I'm sure all together I've spent as much on real nappies as on sposies alone he he he Its amazing just HOW addicted you can get!! Looking forward to getting to know you all...

I used prefolds until about 6months when I discovered 'real' cloth and now my almost 27month old is learning about the loo and the potty so our fluffy journey is coming to an end for now - so I love hearing about other people's collections daft as it sounds!!

my dd is fully cloth bummed but my ds is learning to use the potty all be it slowly.
not being able to dry the nappies in wet weather was my excuse to buy some more

I'm Rae, and have Kayleigh in cloth. I realise I must be an uber addict as I have now got to the stage of having to get rid of nappies I still like and work well because I have got too many and have just bought some new ones for a change. I'd hate to work out what I have actually spent on nappies, but they are so pretty and exciting compared to spending the same money on sposies. Look forward to chatting.
