Finally found the place to properly introduce myself!
The cute little boy in the picture is my first, Deacon, who is 9 months old tomorrow! I convinced my husband that we should switch to cloth nappies after speaking to some mums at my local breastfeeding group who were already using them and told me how easy they are to use. I'd always said I'd use cloth, long before my husband and I decided to have children but I think I was a bit mislead during pregnancy as I was told they wouldn't actually save any money and were really hard to care for - all lies!
I've opted for BTP nappies as I will be using them on at least one more child, and I like pocket-style for ease of use. We currently have 10 Bumgenius V4 Aplix (thanks to a generous nappy fairy, aka my mum) and a couple of Smartipants. I hope to build up a sufficient stash so we can use them full time, mostly BG but I want to try other brands as well, so I came on here to look for bargains after having the site recommended by a friend.
I'm not much of a chatter, and I am mainly here for the classifieds, but just so you know I am a real person with a real baby in a real nappy .
Cloth Nappy Tree gives you a free, unbiased and privacy rich place to discuss and recycle your cloth nappies. Save time, money and our planet by inspiring and helping others.
