i also love weenotions wipes too but if you want some really cheap ones then a cut up fleece or terry cloths work just as well Re: Glasgow newcomer :-)

I agree with either weenotions or loobylu for wipes. Have a look in the WAHM Wonders section at the top of the screen. There might be some in there & also might be some preloved in the classifieds section.
It can be very very overwhelming when you first come on here but you'll be a cloth nappy expert before long. Ask loads of questions.
As mentioned before, fluffles are made from microfibre. Microfibre & cotton would be the least absorbant of the materials nappies are made of & would be best for light to moderate wetters. You will probably find that at 10 months you will need to boost the fluffles for your baby. Little Lamb bamboo booster size 2 are fab boosters & they will work for boosting your easyfits too.
If you would like to see if you can get away with easyfits at night (which again would probably only work for a light to moderate wetter) I would recommend getting some Easy Peasy Hemp boosters. Hemp is very absorbant but it is slow to absorb so I would put one of the Little Lamb Bamboo boosters on top of the easy peasy hemp. I would probably put 2 easy peasy hemps with the LL bamboo on top in the easyfit & if that doesn't work you will have to get a dedicated night nappy. Weenotions night nappies & Holden's Landing bedbugs are good night nappies to start with & I would recommend buying them on classifieds to save yourself a bit of money.

I'm tempted to use a disposable tonight until I get proper night nappies. The boy is very red looking now, which is disappointing as I was so excited about cloth.

Hello!
I'm out the other direction in Renfrewshire.
DS was always a heavy wetter, so the only thing that worked for us was a well boosted (lots of bamboo!) night nappy with a wool cover.
