Cloth Nappy Tree Forum

Hi,

my name's Liz and I'm 32 weeks pregnant with my first. I've been lurking around for a while and am determined to use cloth nappies.

I knit, so i plan on making some cute soakers and longies. I just bought a sewing machine so I'm also hoping to use that to make some cute nappies for myself. I have some terry boosters already cut-out and ready to sew

I'll be hanging round hoping for some nuggets of advice, especially in the next 8 weeks as I obviously don't have a baby to try anything out on yet and i want to get my stash sorted

I'm 35wks so just a little ahead of you. Making your own nappies is so rewarding - even my toddler has ones for her dolls/teds!!

I do knit and crochet but I've not taken the plunge with longies or soakers yet. I was waiting to find out what flavour arrives and I can do something special just for spud as i never used wool over cloth on my first.

Good luck with the next few weeks (and put your feet up whenever you can)
