Soakers, longies and shorties?

Postby amba » Sun Sep 28, 2014 4:24 pm

I keep seeing these on this site, but what are they? Do you use these instead of wraps? Or are they used with wraps aswell? I got given one, but have no idea what to do with it! Nappy, wrap and soaker? Or nappy and soaker (no wrap)?

They are all clothing that can be worn over nappies and double up as a wrap.

Soaker is like a wrap
Shorties are shorts
Longies are pants/trousers

If you are using a lanolised wool soaker/shorties/longies you don't need a PUL wrap as well. Fleece soakers are also good.

You need to Lanolise the soaker then use it as a wrap.

Thanks ladies, that link was really good.
Didn't realize you had to lanolise! Infact I've never heard of it lol
