yeah, like miss purple, i'm not sure my cloth nappy addiction has actually saved me money, even though i've bought preloved everything. i think partly it's the fact that you need special large clothes to go over the cloth nappy so have to buy expensive Frugi clothes and can't use any of the trousers that came with cheapo bulk buys from ebay. i think wool is particularly expensive if you go down that route because you need to buy lanolin which goes quite fast if you're doing longies (DD is in woolies for 4 days a week when not in nursery and also at night) - but maybe i'm using too much lanolin!?! i'm going to start crocheting in an attempt to save money but i'm not sure it will (with the cost of yarn etc)! xxx
