Gosh I didn't start really buying until nearly 30 weeks!!!! Didn't buy clothes until after then.

Teenyfits are fab on NB's if they are a decent weight x

My 20 wk scan is on the 16th of April, but we don't want to know what it is! Gn stuff doesn't bother me, there's plenty time for that later! I quite like the early days of everything being white, so you really see the wee person and not the clothes.

For the life of me I can't accurately remember what is in my nb stash! There's a nippa diddy diaper, a bimble, some LLs, a bamboozle, and a bootylicious I think, plus a velour swaddlebees which I didn't love, then some small pockets too.

Sure there's more though, as we didn't use sposies at all. I love terry squares for nb too, so will need some new ones this time round as theyre used as cloths now! I've only bought 3 PL so far this time, and am generally trying to resist buying anything til we're past 20 weeks.

It's hard though! As soon as I can get into the spare room (full of junk) to access my stash, I'll have a clearer idea of what we 'need' to buy, and then I'll have some fun!

Im doing PL / on a budget this time so def need to pick up good deals when they come up as i dont want to be left with a few weeks to go and have to pay whatever is out there iykwim.

With Scarlett we started buying after the 20wk scan, didnt buy a single thing before then but different now as obv have most stuff. Am not fussed about buying anything really at the moment but if i see a nice WAHM nappy at a good price i wouldnt pass it up, mass produced stuff will still be around later in the year.

We didn't buy anything at all for Darcy until about 23-24 weeks when we went to visit the in laws and I saw some cute little sleep suits. Even up until she was born we didn't buy a huge amount apart from the essentials, pram car seat,sleep suits, nappies etc. We were given loads of stuff my DHs old boss but I sent most of it to charity as it wasn't to my taste This time I think its a bit different as we have a lot of things anyway, especially is wriggles is a girl as I couldn't bring myself to get rid of any of Darcys clothes so have a good 4-5 boxes full in the spare room I dont think I will bother buying many clothes if we have a boy though as we got given so many clothes as presents last time that they hardly got worn, some still have tags on! Think I will just buy enough sleep suits, vests etc to do us the first month or so then go shopping once babies born! I was so nervous about buying last time, but this time I just can't help myself, and even bought a new baby bouncer that I saw on offer last week, it was the one I had wanted so couldn't resist

I am buying as much PL as I can this time too and only new nappies I have bought so far are the LL bamboos that were on offer. I have got very good prices for what I have bought so far so should be able to re sell at similar price once they are outgrown Bought 3 of the newest style DnF PL the other day they have barely been worn and I got all 3 for £33 all in, so pretty pleased seeing as I was really trying not to buy some brand news one I saw for £20 each! Just need to make some more paypal funds now before I can buy anything else. Having a big clear out of Darcys room today so will see what I have to sell

12 weeks here and i've already bought some ittis and some size 1 tb stretch PL. Had scan yesterday and bubs had really obvious boy bits, think the ultrasonograher was a bit shocked she even took a pic for me to show DH as he sadly couldn't make it as had to stay with poorly DD. The ittis we have got so far could be GN but honestly are mor boyish than girly so ideal for a boy stash. Will wait til next scan before i start selling off DD's girly nappies just to be sure.

I didn't buy anything first time round til about 30 weeks as i was very superstitious and hadn't caught the cloth nappy bug back then. As the others have said i'm buying PL then anything that doesnt fit well can be sold on without a loss. Think i might have to order a custom WN tho for first nappy home from hospital.
