I put mine in at 60 with the rest of my nappies but have just noticed on the Babykind website that they advise washing at 40

I wash mine at 60 too, as does a friend of mine, have had no problems with them!
EDIT, that said, your LO is over 6 months isn't she, I don't think there would be any problem with you washing at 40 if you were worried!

Don't you need to wash nappies at 60 once DC is over 6 months? Excuse my ignorance!

I've heard 3 and 6 months, but in all honesty I have never washed nappies at 40, I do intend to give it a go with bio when Summer reaches 6 months tho, as bio works better at 40 I believe! Found this is if its of any use to you
When you are ready to wash your nappies, remove the mesh bag with all the soiled nappies inside and place in the washing machine with mesh bag open (so that all the nappies tumble out in the wash). Different manufacturers’ recommend you wash at certain temperatures (mainly for environmental reasons), however nappies are designed to withstand a 60° wash to ensure your nappies are sanitized (i.e. kill of any microbes that may be lurking there). It is not necessary to sterilize your nappies at this temperature every wash and you can adequately wash at 40° most of the time if you prefer. However you should wash at 60° when; your baby has repeated nappy rash; your baby is unwell; you are using eco balls. If you do not have a full load you can wash nappies with other colourfast clothes. If you have Velcro fastenings, turn the nappies or wraps inside out and shut the Velcro to stop the Velcro catching on other materials in the wash.

I still wash at 60 deg with bio powder with no problems.

I started washing Ben's nappies at 40 once he turned 3 months with no ill effects
Did the same with Charlotte

Thanks all; really useful link Hannah. Glad that I can start to reduce temp; hope stains still come out!

Well I've heard the enzymes in bio work better at 40 so if you don't already might be worth trying bio too if you do get stains!
