Nappy Bins/Buckets

I used to use a bag and stick them it in the machine something like every other wash unless it was pooed all over!

I've now got a bin and nocticed it ponged a bit so have just given it a good wash and rinse over.

Ha Hannah, I thought at first you were saying that you smell bad

I tend to just sluice it out in Charlotte's bath water (when she has finished) every now and then.

It doesn't smell 'cos I have some Diaper Pail Daisies from clair, which I put a bit of lavendar on.

I put a washable wipe in with tea tree oil and lavender on so it doesn't really pong but when i empty it, it whiffs a bit.

I give it a wipe out every week. Think I might try a washable wipe with some lavender on it sometimes it gets a bit pongy when you chuck a nappy in there.

We use a fuzzi bunz nappy tote and I just shove it in the nappy wash once a week. I find it's great and it's got a small piece of microfibre sewn onto one of the inside seams so you can put some nice smelling oil onto it .
