I always thought minkee was a stay dry lining fabric but I now see it used as the absorbent inner of totsbots, how can it be absorbent when the very nature of stay dry fabrics repel moisture? :-? How absorbent is it? greater or on a par with mf? Does it need multiple prep washes?

We had a HUGE discussion about this when they first came out. (will try and find the epic thread!) Some of us were wondering the same thing. I think a lot of people are disappointed with the newer versions as they are just not as absorbent with the minkee inners. Others however get on really well with it and prefer them.
