Newborn stash help please check pg 5

Postby MissFrodo » Mon Nov 04, 2013 9:27 am

So I'm trying to decide on the nappy stash I need for baby.
I already have a few Totbots nappies but by far not enough.
I also need I drypailbag I think as I wasn't keen on the bucket last time.
So what do I need or what should I get and what are the ones I should leave?

Muslins and wraps, cheap and you can also use them as burp/general mop-up cloths!

I had/ have:
3 teeny fits
3 newborn fitteds
Muslin squares
3 thirsties duo size 1
1 totsbots size 0
4x mummy made wool soakers
Terry squares
Prefolds nippered ( although as last resort as they didn t suit him like his sisters)
I used these for the first 7-10 days

Then had to use sposies for about a week due to the cord not healing and the wraps rubbing :( never had that problem with dd2 so I think everything was just at the wrong height.

I then used those still minus the muslin squares with the addition of little lambs, old style tots bots bamboozles and 1 new style bamboozle stretchie. And an itti tutto and a disana wool soaker.
He now at nearly 10 weeks fits the easy fit ( and has for a good 3/4 weeks) , thirties duo pockets size 2, and bumgenius pockets.
I m still using a mixture of all of these :) not sure how long the size 1s are going to last. He was 8lb 1oz and I have no idea now ( been avoiding the weighing but he's a chunky thing! ) might get him weighed tomorrow.
Hope that helps!

@scarlet.
I think most people find this with the teeny fits.
A little lamb bamboo booster fits perfectly and adds an hour/or two :)
