Up until recently though I wouldn't even look at anything that cost more than about £6 secondhand, and I've only just made my first new purchases (apart from DS's Little Lambs and Bumbles a couple of years back!). All my thriftiness went downhill when I discovered minkee pockets.I do still tend to buy and sell in equal measures, though I must admit I definitely have enough nappies for 2 (3?) DDs....
i was the same in the beginning...most od DD's first size nappies were preloved or cheapies like diddy diapers! most wraps were preloved too. i had loads of terries and a box of preloved prefolds (that i havent used at all
) i even made loads of (terrible) nappies in the hope of saving money. a year ago i would have gasped at the mere thought of spending £20 on a nappy but somehow i can justify it now! i think im going to have to gather up some paypal as i really *need* another weenotions SS pocket!! xx
