washing new hemp weeds

Hi all,

My brain might be playing tricks with me, but I think I want to try my hemp babies little and bigger weeds which are stashed away somewhere, but I can't remember if I can prewash them in normal nappy washes or do they have to be done seperately due to oils or something?

Need to try and find where I hid them before they even find the washing machine

You're right Annette, you're supposed to wash them seperately first few washes because there oils can affect your other nappies absorbency. I'm currently washing my hand made ones in the downstairs loo sink .

Thank you, I think I will try and find them and get them into a normal towel wash and might 'forget' to put softener in a couple of clothes washes.

Some one has also suggested boiling them with a bit of detergent, speeds up the process apparently but haven't tried it.
