Disposibles are rubbish!

Postby clothmama » Fri Jan 29, 2016 3:07 pm

With Rémy's dodgy tummy I've put him into disposables on and off the last little while and they are are driving me mad - I've had 3 overnight leaks recently :x I never get overnight leaks in cloth. I just him to stop having runny poo so I can get him back in cloth :x :x ! I usually just deal with it but I'm not feeling great either so not up to poo scraping :puke: !

:x :x

Can you put a wrap over the disposable? Or wouldnt it make any difference?

That is actually a brilliant idea! I could just put his wool longies over the top - it is just urine that leaks out the front as they dont' have any elastic or anything! Thanks girls - I can't believe I forgot that trick :loopy:

That is what I've done tonight - looking forward to no wet clothes to change in the morning even if he has a lot of milk overnight! :yahoo: :yahoo:

Ditte is still in nappies at night and we use a PUL pocket (because we have those in her size) filled with hemp and wool over and that is the perfect solution here. I guess it would work just as well with disposibles

Our lo is on antibiotics at the mo and having 6-7 poos a day, all runny. If it helps any, we are using cloth and having no leaks and i just chuck them straight in the machine as the poo is so runny and it comes put no problem :-) We actually just transitioned to ft cloth because of all the pooing and it was going to cost us a fortune in sposies otherwise! :giggle:
