as pp said it could be teething, it can make the nappies smell awful, and theres not much you can do except maybe add tea tree to the rinse (or vinegar or soda bicarb as long as you dont use it too often on wraps or pockets) to keep smells at bay. you could try soaking the inserts in your nappy bucket before washing, then wash without detergent after a wash with detergent to strip them a bit. if you have a dry day anytime soon, hang them out on the line; they might not get dry but sunshine works wonders for stains and smells! xx

we're in a flat, so no line

OK so if I wash them with a cold rinse, then a 60 degree with just a touch of detergent could that help? Not sure when I can find someonething else to use but the ecover. Maybe a splash of vinger too?

These are just the inserts for the itti bittis

we figured out the washer is hooked up to the hot, not the cold, so the "cold" wash for the nappies never worked :mad

All of the baby stuff we washed on cold was very hot instead, maybe why her clothes look trashed so quick :(

Just to say that there are quite a few of us on here now using bold 2 in 1 for nappies, and it smells lovely.
