the only thing I slightly dont' like is that they are not the easiest nappy to stuff, the inside is a bit grippy and I have huge hands so its a bit just getting it all in but I manage!

Ah, I know what you mean with that one - an XS Fuzzi isn't all that easy to stuff either! I find a sort of overhanded motion does it though, if that makes sense. I lie the insert over the palm of my hand and down the underside of my arm, grip with my fingers, and use the other hand to pull the nappy over - if I made a fist my hand wouldn't fit!

TBH, I think I just don't like 2 parts - none of them appeal to me when there's so many lovely, fast-drying pockets out there!

I'd say small. Zac Only wore his size 0 bambeasies for 2 weeks and the newborn size swaddlebees I got him was too small when he was born! He was 8lb 13oz at birth though so a bit bigger. We are using mostly kissaluvs ( size 1) and folded down bumbles and medium motherease wraps at the moment.

They just grow sooooo fast. Can't believe he's 11 weeks already.

I've also noticed that a few people use Motherease Rikki wraps XS would you reccommend them and do you think 2 would do (plus other types) and what about the Airflow ones or are they not as good on a newborn.

what sort of build were hannah a phebie? as both of my both were (and still are!) quite scawny, and when we started with cloth (at 5 month) i thought i'd be fine in size 2, and they'd just be a bit bulky (he weight was ok for them) but they were all Massive, just cos of his scwniness, and Taneli at 3 and a half still fits a BG, so next time, even tho my babies are quite big in weight and length, i will be buying titchy nappies to deal with their scrawniness!! (and maybe cos they are super cute and an excuse to buy more nappies too)

ps at 5 months Boo was still in small rikkis, just so you get an idea of scrawniness!

Beck, I used the rikkis as I thought they would be easier for a new cloth mum!! Don't think I could have been dealing with poppers in the middle of the night tbh!! The xs were just gorgeous but he was tiny (only 6lbs 12oz at birth adn lost soem of that before we left the hospital). The small fitted as well so if you think you are going to have a decent sized baby I'd maybe only get 1 xs!

I agree. The small will probably fit well for an average sized baby. We used small rikkis for four weeks before moving to medium airflows. I'm not a fan of velcro generally but these gave a good fit from birth and excellent containment. I had 6 wraps but could have made do with much less.
