I did some maths.

So.... I changed her about 12 times (!) a day for the first 3 weeks, but only about 8 times a day now, so let's pretend she's 5 weeks old.

Pampers Baby Dry - Micro were £2.74 for 24 - 274 / 24 = 11.42p per nappy.
3 weeks at 12 - 3 x 7 = 21 x 12 x 11.42 = 2877.84p - £28.78
2 weeks at 8 - 2 x 7 = 14 x 8 x 11.42 = 1279.02p - £12.79
TOTAL - £12.79 + £28.78 = £41.57

15 Fuzzis at £115 - 115 - 12.79 - 28.78 = £73.43
12.79 / 2 = £6.80 a week.

Plus the wear on my washing machine (which only cost £70 anyway... so not a lot of cost there), detergent etc. - Don't know hoe to factor in the machine and electricity though.

Fairy non-bio liquid - 1 bottle - £3.29
Lavender and tea tree oils - £9
Nappy Bucket - £5
TOTAL - £17.29 + £73.43 = £90.72

£90.72 / £6.80 = 13.34 weeks

So at 8 nappies a day, I need to use them for 93.4 more days to make my money back. Or if I sell them on at £5 each (I really, really take good care of these - pristine!), 2.3 weeks, or 16 days.

Wow thats pretty impressive and don't forget you have factored in things like the oils and the nappy bucket which will be used over a lot longer period than that!!!

If they are in really good condition you should be able to get much more than £5 each for them too :D :D :D :D !!

I hope so! They seem to go for £5 in good condition without the insert - and there's not a mark or stain anywhere on any of them yet, and I won't need the inserts because They don't fit anything else!

My Tiny Heiny came today - just waiting for the next change so i can try it out! Seems the same size as a Fuzzi, maybe a little slimmer between the legs, but her father can probably cope better with the velcro!

I paid about £130 for all my size 1 nappies (excluding long term stuff like bins and oils and wipes- that came to around £160 I think). I then sodl them on for £100 so my first 5 -6 months of nappies came to a grand total of £30   :D :D . Nappies here would set me back around £10 a week!!! :D :D
