I have only ever done a daily wash (occasionally I leave them to every other day but then I have to do 2 loads)

I don't like doing a 'full load' though as I find they don't come out as clean as I like so I only really wash 10-12 at one go

Same here. If I put more than that in the machine the nappies aren't as clean.

We used to wash them every 2-3 days. Didn't put them in with clothes but it was the same cycle.

When dd was potty training and so only wearing one nappy (at night) we washed them in with towels.

I wash every third day, but I do a cold rinse (no spin) of the day's nappies every evening. I wash wipes and microfibre meal cleaning-up cloths on the same wash, normally at 60 since I started adding the microfibre cloths. If there are any really yucky nappies and it isn't a wash day I'll do a cold quick wash with no spin and no detergent rather than just a rinse.

It depends how mucky they are. If they're mostly just wet ones, then I'll often stick them in with an ordinary wash if I don't have enough nappies to do a half load. I always do a pre wash and I have super rinse on so they come out nice and clean.

Otherwise, I wash with towels if I have any of those needing doing, muslins etc, or I do a nappy wash on the third day rather than the second day if that makes sense?

Only nappies in the load here. I wash every other day usually - about 12 or so nappies at a time

Often feel a bit guilty if the machine isn't 3/4 full so will fill it with other bits too if the nappies don't. Try and aim for things like towels and underwear but it doesn't always work out like that... :giggle:

If washing isn't getting the poo off everything then I question why I am using the washing machine :x

I do a nappy-only wash every 3 days; about 18-20 nappies in total. I used to use a standard 40 or 60 degree wash but it wasn't always cleaning the nappies thoroughly, so now I always do a 25 degree prewash without detergent followed by a 40 or 60 degree wash.
