Pre-loved/2nd hand nappies

Postby 4timeslucky » Wed Sep 05, 2007 9:02 pm

Hi All

Have just bought some 2nd hand nappies. More to try!! :D

With pre-loved nappies what do most people do? Give them a wash at 60 before use - is that enough? (I know 60 wash for problems with thrush)

yeah, i tend to stick them in the machine at 60 just in case, and rinse loads, as many seem to have a lots of deteregnt in, and then tumble for a little before line drying to get optimum softeness!

Far too many!! as already have a selection

couple of lollipop fleece stuffables, couple of minki huggles

handful of disana tie-on's, nature babies wrap, couple of other pul wraps and a disana pull on wool wrap

Disana as I really want to try wool and hope to have finished knitting my own before she's too big but with 4 kids - maybe not!!

A great mixture from Armele
The tots bots - 1 fluffle, 1 bamboozle & 1 cotton
1 Bumpy wrap, 1 ellas hemp, 1 bumhugger

& she threw in a couple of fleece liners - nice just to see what ready made ones are like as mine are just cut from an old fleece jacket - they work though!
