I sit and stuff/boost them all, fasten them all up, admire them ( ) and then put them away.

I admit to doing exactly the same!

Put them through the wash anyway. I do that with odd socks. I can't put one sock back in a sock draw, so it's doomed to go around the washing again and again until it finds it's buddy.

Nichola, I have to do that with the odd socks too, otherwise dh just puts them away as lonely socks and they never find their friends

There are odd socks in the bottom of Lucas' basket from when he was in teeny tiny ickle socks,,, where have the others gone?? who knows???

That's a long time!! I get sick of them and eventually throw them away Usually that means a couple will turn up
