Postby jules070603 » Sat Sep 15, 2007 6:59 pm

My l0vely wee-n0tions wrap with 'ZACH' 0n the bum has been leaking/wicking depending 0n h0w y0u l00k at it and I was really upset as I l0ve it :(

I put it in the tumble 0n full heat f0r 60 mins the 0ther day and gave it a g00d run f0r its m0ney this aftern00n t0 test it (4h0urs 20 mins) and the nappy was s0dden but n0 wicking.

I'm s000000 happy

I n0 l0nger use vinegar in my washes incase that was the culprit.

That is good news, people do say that tumbling pul helps to fix it. Good to hear it works, although I don't have a tumble dryer, so would have to borrow one if I need to do it.

I don't use vinegar as I didn't think it made any difference and we have fairly solf water in Manchester anyway. Actually I will post this in the washing section too but I heard that using Bold was actually OK for nappies as the conditioner in them does not have the same effect as using separate conditioner and I have noticed my nappies are a little softer and not noticed any difference in absorbency.
