Sizing Advice Needed!

Findlay currently measures:
Rise: 25/26
Waist: 33/34
Thigh: 12

Pocket Nappy 1 measures:
29
33
18

Pocket Nappy 2 measures:
38
35
22

I've been advised to go for nappy 2 based on his measurements but the rise comes up to his armpit which seems awfully high to me! Any advice would be great, thanks!

sounds like he may be better with fitteds for now that you could fold the front down on

i think i would go for 1 but he is v small fitteds maybe better- which pockets are they? small blueberry and fuzzi's worked for us early on

It's probably to do with the waist (too tight?), but no idea... I'd look into some other makes, or OS's!

can you shorten the rise at all on either nappy? perhaps with poopers? or could you put less stuffing in and fold over the top?

sounds like he might need a smaller size for now though otherwise.

What weight is Finlay? He sounds really tiny to me! Newborn diddy diapers and size O bimbles are often a neater fit on preemie babies, or XS fuzzis might be good too.

He's 5lbs 14 although he's very long (takes after his 6ft 5 daddy!!) so the health visitor said his weight is all his length bless him. He's can fit a sleepsuit for babies up to 5lbs on over a cloth bum!
So far we're using newborn diddy diapers, Imse Vimse newborn and Dolly Tots which all seem to work quite well (DD and IV folded down) but I was looking for some pockets so OH can change him and for when he gets looked after by OH's Mum (he ends up in disposables then due to him being rather a wriggler making 2 parts not the easiest thing to put on him)

I'd definitely get some XS Fuzzis then if you're after pockets. Kittykins sells them.
