bleach nappies????

Hello there,
Told you I am new and will be asking all sorts of silly question!!!
My Question is why would you bleach a nappy.
Found some reference to bleaching a nappy when I was browsing around some shops.

Not sure really - maybe if it was stained? Wouldn't do it any good not to mention all those chemicals!! they may well of done it many years ago when they were hand washing or using crappy old washing machines!!

Just going to bounce this over to 'General Cloth Nappy Chat'. We use that for nappy related stuff and 'General Chat' for non nappy stuff! That way those that don't want to read our endless mutterings about our daily lives don't have to

Were they talking about sun bleaching? Drying nappies outside on a washing line helps to remove any stains left from washing or leaving them on a window sill.
