serged / turned top stitched -explain please!

whats the difference between turned & top stitched and serged nappys, could some one explain please?
am i being dumb, keep seeing it on different sites but dont know the difference! :oops:

Image this is serged with frill like edges
Image this is T&T - they are more shaped and flat

ahhhhhhhh, thanks for that i didnt realise it affected the shape of leg holes, think i prefer the t&t.
