replacing elastic?

Postby fleur08 » Tue Jul 14, 2009 8:12 am

hi,
is it possible / easy to replace elastic in leg holes?
ive got 3 pre owned night nappys that ive been using for a while and the leg elastic has gone in all of them resulting in a soggy baby at 2 am this morning :crossbaby: , doesnt help that she sleeps on her side.
or should i forget it and get some new fluff?

I'm sure you can, but I'm not sure how I'm afraid, but I'm positive someone will be able to help you out on here.

Hello. Not sure how easy it is but I think weenotions sell the elastic. Interested to see because I have some nappies where the back elastic has gone.

2 are weenotions and 1 is a babybufters.
must admit ive never felt the love with the weenotions, they do the job just look old n ugly, but think i could do with mediums realy.
maybe i should splash out on some new fluff, had a soy upsydaisy arrive today & i LOVE it,its soft squishy & she wore it for 3 hours before doing a poo and it wasnt even damp :D
also fancy a puddlekin.

sorry,im rambling....

Like it says, Suzanne might be able to fix the WNs for you... not sure about the babybufters but I've replaced the elastic in several nappies (where it's not zig-zag-stitched lastin, just normal elastic sewn at each end) and it's really easy. Can give you some more info if you need it.
