I never prewash anything that is preloved

TBH we get preloved nappies through the door most days, and we have enough washing already with 2 in cloth. I only prewashed once and thats because they stunk of wee - despite buying from on here! I stripped those nappies! I am too impatient to wash before use! Especially as most of the nappies we use take a couple of days to dry when its not sunny.

To be honest, if the nappies smell clean, and your LOs don't react to certain washing powders, I can't see why you would want to wash them. :-?

Glad I'm not the only one, but like I say I have prewashed if the nappies are a little stiff!

I never prewash any fluff, either preloved or new. Too impatient for Katie to wear it. :giggle:

Nah generally not. Once I had to because a nappy I bought stank of mould (thankfully it came up perfect after the wash). If I buy from someone I don't know I might consider it too, but that doesn't happen often.

I've never pre-washed a pre-loved nappy, I always use paper liners anyway but even if I didn't I wouldn't wash it. I can't say that I would wash it if I didn't know who I got it from because I don't know anyone on here.

I didn't used to have a tumble dryer so I have probably sold on a couple of stiff nappies. :-?

If the nappy smelt bad I would wash it though for sure. :-?

In general no I don't but if it was a bit whiffy then I would or if it needed softening up perhaps I would but sometimes if the nappies come off the line dead stiff I spray them with a bit of water to dampen them and give them a fluff in the dryer. I always wash nappies I have sold before posting them esp if they have been sitting unworn for a couple of weeks. x
