Have I measured him right?

I've just measured my little boy as I'm wanting to buy a UD nappy.

These are the measurements I've come up with:

Waist (just under belly button) 17"
Thighs 10.5"
Rise (from where his usual nappies sit) 13" but nappies with a 15/16" rise fit fine

He's 5.5 months now and he is chunky but not abnormal. Looking at the sizing chart on UD his waist means he needs a large but that can't be right surely?

Hi Joy! I remember buying a whole load of stuff as I went up a size and Louis was around 5 months and some of them seemed like they would be too big and they may have been slightly (for a week or 2 ) but then they still fit now (he is 3 1/4 and still in night nappies!). So yep if it says large go for that!

Sounds like you have measured right. You might find that he slims down a little once he gets more mobile but I had Ben in larges from quite early on and as Tory says, I expect them to fit for quite a while yet.
